Which VIN codes does a Nissan have?

The first three characters (WMI) of a Nissan VIN are usually one of these: JN1 – Nissan cars, Japan; JN8 – Nissan SUVs, Japan; 1N4 – Nissan cars, USA; 1N6 – Nissan trucks, USA. A VIN with another code is not necessarily wrong, since makers change codes over time, but decode it to see what it says.
