Where the VIN is
In Denmark the VIN is printed on the EU registration certificate, field E. On the car it is at the bottom of the windshield and on the door pillar; all copies must match.

The periodic inspection (syn) records the mileage; for an imported car, compare it with the readings from its earlier country.
Imported cars
